Kayla’s Cuttings started with her mother’s love for plants. She has over 20 years’ experience with caring for and propagating plants. Our daughter Kayla shared her mother’s love for plants. She loved them so much that she would pull leaves off of her favorite plants and show us. When that happened, “Don’t hate, propagate” became a common joke and expression in our home.

Kayla’s Father was born into the culinary world and has a passion for cooking and feeding others. Feeding a family of 5 and getting 3 toddlers to eat vegetables can be tricky. With over 15 years of experience being a farm to table Chef, growing Microgreens for their family was not only great for nutrition but easy to sneak in toddlers food. Our Microgreen Mixes have become part of our daily meals. All vegetables start off as a Microgreen and they are up to 40x more nutritious than their fully grown vegetable. We use them for salads, wraps, sandwiches, shakes, sides and more. Our Microgreens are 100% organic with the highest quality of seeds that are Heirloom, Non-GMO and we also use 100% rainwater. Kayla’s Father has taken his experience to create many recipes using Microgreens our family and surrounding communities enjoy.
